Planning consent was achieved in 2019 with a successful onward sale the following year to a National Housebuilder. The site formed the larger part of a 550 unit strategic allocation in Arun District Council's Local Plan. Working with the other land promoter we secured a comprehensive and joined up scheme.
The scheme provides off site contributions for an extension of Yapton’s existing Primary school as well as highway junction improvements. The design and layout of the scheme reflected the context and setting of the site on the edge of the settlement which was sensitive in terms of landscape and visual assessment.
